“Transforming lives, supporting education”.

Ikota Resource Centre

In 2017, we set up a resource centre in Ikota, Lagos, Nigeria to cater for the large number of extremely disadvantaged children and adolescents living there. A high proportion of children in the area are out of school and those in attendance lack access to basic resources like books, computers and the internet.

We have had over 80,000 visits to the Path to Possibilities Resource Centre since it opened in 2017.

Our resource centre is free and open six days a week. The centre meets a real need for hundreds of children and young adults aged 5 to 20. Within the resource centre we have a library, a computer area with free internet access, a quiet room and a training room for vocational training.

The centre aims to provide a safe space and haven for children who live in homes not conducive for learning.
