Hike for Change is our annual fundraising campaign, and we need your help.

What is Hike for Change?
Over the past three years, our community has come together through Hike for Change to raise funds to support the education of disadvantaged children in Nigeria. This includes an 8-mile hike in Surrey.
Our supporters create their JustGiving fundraising pages and raise funds that help us provide scholarships, tailoring training, access to learning resources and community projects for children and communities in Nigeria.
You can raise funds from anywhere in the world. If you'd like to join us for the physical hike, you can join us in Surrey or hike from wherever you are. This year’s Hike is on 31 October 2026.
What will your fundraising support?
The funds raised through Hike for Change help us continue to provide:
• Six-year scholarships that keep children in school
• Our Resource Centre, open six days a week
• Books, computers, and free internet access
• Vocational training and teacher support
• Operational costs that make all of this possible

This year's fundraising goal: £30,000
We’re raising £30,000 to install a solar system at the Resource Centre.
The Resource Centre is open six days a week and gives children and young people access to books, computers, free internet, and training opportunities.
Solar power means:
• No more interrupted lessons when the grid fails
• Reduced fuel dependence
• Clean, reliable energy
• A stable learning environment for children

10 Years Strong
This year marks the 10th anniversary of our Resource Centre.
For a decade, thousands of children have walked through its doors to read, learn, and build skills.
It has provided a safe space for learning, digital access, and opportunity.
Now, we want to upgrade it with solar panels to make it a state-of-the-art, sustainable centre for the next decade.
